Simply put, the mission of the Davison-Richfield Fire Department Auxiliary is to support the firefighters of the Davison-Richfield Fire Department and the amazing community they serve. We will accomplish this by promoting positive relationships among the auxiliary, fire department, and the Davison community; providing support and relief to the fire department at emergency scenes, and extending aid to the community at times of adversity.
Our firefighters give of their time, and more importantly themselves, to assist members of our community; on what are often some of the worst days a person can go through. We endeavor to make these emergencies a little easier on our first responders. Some days it may be ensuring they have a cool drink and something warm to eat at the scene of a structure fire. Other days it may be assisting with events the fire department hosts in an effort to aid our neighbors in better prevention and preparedness of such circumstances.
We are fortunate to be a part of the Davison community. An area that values helping our neighbors and rallying around one another as family. The DRFD Auxiliary not only wants to build relationships, but to be there in times of need. The first step we would like to take in accomplishing this goal is through the development of a program to address immediate needs in the event of an emergency. It is important to us to support the community that supports our fire department.
